Play the Xylo!

In the spirit of the new Google tribute to Les Paul, I’ve dug up a cute little project that I worked on with the help of my dear former classmate Brandi Wilcox.

The inspiration came from a prototype that my other classmate Cynthia Nie built around experimental elevator movement and coordination. What I found interesting was the choice for the background music that’s played entirely with a xylophone instrument.

What if I had an elevator music generator? Well it doesn’t exactly generate music right now. It helps you play, record, and then play again!  You can launch the Xylophobe! in a new window here.
